Blacklight (2022)

Blacklight is a standard action flick that doesn't do anything that is original. I left the theater feeling neither impressed nor disappointed. It tries to go into some intellectual commentary about people, but again, it's nothing that hasn't been done before. Liam Neeson's character is pretty much the only redeemable thing about the film. He isn't some super agent and does well playing a guy close to retirement. His daughter is unbearable and it feels they tried to make her the voice of reason. Every opinion she has is a bad take on the situation. Overall, there are some entertaining aspects to it, but the movie is mostly just boring. 4/10.
